School is back in! The Piton Community School is back in session, and this year we've added the 7th grade class! In villages like ours, when students finish the 6th grade and their families have the means, often the student will continue their education in another town where a family member lives. Our students rarely have the means or opportunity, so the older students in Piton and the neighboring village of Piton West have asked for and been granted the opportunity to contin

Public Latrine Construction
2026 Aug 10 Thanks to the support of a generous and practical-minded supporter, we built our first public latrine in July 2026! It is situated between the two villages we serve, Piton & Piton West, on the footpath used by the local villagers, and those coming from further away. Activities in Piton have increased greatly. Piton's coffee project is a success!
In 2022, Aid to Infrastructure launched a coffee initiative. Two years later, Samuel and a group of ladies are reinvesting in their program, selling seedlings to others who want to grow for themselves and selling ground coffee in the market.
