Water Supply Improvements for Piton and Piton West Villages

Piton West

We constructed a new cistern in 2020 in the village of Piton West, located in a valley next to Piton. Now Samuel works with individual families to provide sanitation education, water storage education, and household filtration systems. Access to clean water is difficult for this village and is so important for the overall health of the village and school.

Piton

The village of Piton has three cisterns. Two original concrete-constructed cisterns flow into a 3rd plastic tank which then flows through our solar-powered water filtration system. The two original cisterns are in need of further repair.
